Monday, February 23, 2004 Richard Thomspon played at the Hotel Fort Des Moines. During the soundcheck we got to hear him play "Read About Love" which he unfortunately didn't do later during the show. The guy who opened up for him was a Canadian named Jason Collett who works with Arts and Crafts Records. He had a very funny prom story and we had a drink with him in the bar by chance afterwards.
